Ford or Chevy
 

I am going out to buy a new SUV this week.

I am stuck between a yellow Chevy Tracker stick shift
or a bright yellow Ford Escape automatic .

any advise out there??

I think I'm going to pick one up in a few months. You don't see as many of these on the road as the other SUV's.

I do alot of driving and the trailblazer eats the gas.

The reason I chose the smaller SUV was because of that.

Before porn, I worked for Chrysler Corp for 12 years. If you want a good idea as to quality look at who buys the most cars back under the "Lemon Laws". The following are listed in order of most cars bought back every year.

#1. Ford
#2. Chrysler
#3. Chevy

I bought the Chevrolet Suburban 2500 series and I love that truck. Its a 3/4 ton truck with a 454 C.I.D engine. It has a full leather interior, pwr heated seats, cd player, cassette, and can tow some serious weight.

When I go in for maintenance work at the dealership its a real pleasure too. They give me a free rental car for anything that takes over an hour. You wont get that at Ford or Chrysler.

After all those years with Chrysler and knowing about all their dirty tricks there is no way I could buy anything from them.

Buy a Chevy Blazer or a GMC Jimmy

Chrysler make the best cars in the world...

I bought an Escape for the girlfriend to use about 6 months ago. The standard warranty it comes with sucks balls, but drives very well. No complaints whatsoever.

That's like having to choose between a poke in the eye or a kick in the ass, buy a three liter BMW X5.

Seriously, I was in a new Tracker last week. Garbage as far as I'm concerned. If I were in a drunken rage I could take the thing apart with my boots.

I'd move up one size bigger if at all possible. Get a base model Blazer. The Tracker is an underpowered deathtrap. And this is from someone that normally likes GM products.

Chevy Tracker is just pure shit... but you can beat it to death and it'll be still running...

But overall - get an escape.

Both of them just regular garbage US-made shit cars.

If you buy a Ford Escape don't get the 4 cylinder.... Upgrade to the 6 cylinder. The 4 banger has less hp than a lawn mower. It's horrible. I can't wait to get rid of it.
