Do you think Hillary Clinton would make a good US President??

Who knows L0rdJuni0r.

Whoever ends up in the Whitehouse, seriously needs to forget political crap-trap and get a grip on everything from the economy, healthcare.. whatever, and get a damage limitation exercise moving. Then start on recovery... not an easy task.

It's prob more relevant to have ability than any personality thing - or even political stuff.

MrIzzz 06-12-2006 10:49 PM

she has done nothing for NY since she became senator and she'll do even less for our nation. fuck her...we need guiliani for president

fallenmuffin 06-12-2006 10:50 PM

Honestly, I couldn't care about the man vs woman aspect of it. I'm a democrat so I'll vote for who's ever on the ticket. However, I do believe a woman in office will open us to some serious attacks from other countries. In some places women aren't even aloud to show their faces in public. How will they react when our entire country is ran by one.

But fuck it, anybody besides G.W. "The retard" Bush would be one gaint step in the right direction.

Love Sex 06-12-2006 10:53 PM

no way but is she fucked an intern and got a cum stained dress it would be a different story

baddog 06-12-2006 10:54 PM

I hope you are smart enough to not vote for her in the primaries or you will be insuring another Republican president

Don't think that matters much FM... doubt al-Queda give a shit what sex the President is.

Only my :2 cents:, but women can be a lot more "fussier" than guys - and that can be a good thing. Whoever it is, needs to be strong, but not "bullshit-strong". A "working President" is another quality - whether they burn themselves out in the process - don't matter, as long as they get the job done.

Why do politics always bring out the uglier side of people. I'm glad you think so. Why some of the other running parties might have some better plans on some issues their over all goal isn't with me. There are alot of more people that just vote one way then there are swing voters. :2 cents:

Unless you were referring to the man vs woman aspect. Inwhich case what does it matter?

The fact that you base your vote on the party affiliation rather than the qualifications proves you should not even be allowed to vote.

teg0 06-12-2006 11:15 PM

As long as she doesn't appoint Tipper Gore to any position, yes I think she'd do okay. Tipper Gore is just wacked out of her mind. She is always going after violent music, video games and movies. I hate that.

you have some statements to back this up.. or you're just speculating?

i think i can speak for most of gfy when i say that regardless of partisan issues, we've lost faith in being able to believe what the government tells us.

"vote for whoever is on the ticket"

That is what is wrong with American politics, both parties equally at fault.

Republican example: If I want the right to own a gun .. I have to also be on the same page as the religious right? How does that work? Why does it have to be the party line across the board?

Every Democrat is not in favor of abortion, Every Republican is not against abortion, but that is the party line and they stick with it.

A president should be elected on his/her ABILITY not pre-set party policy set in stone on a wide range of topics.

As a nation we don't look at important issues and what is best for the country. We vote for our party and accept the party line.

well when clinton was in office i belive things were better so maybe she would be better than someone backed by bush or anyone affiliated with him. there are a lot of questions that need to be amswered about 9-11, new orliens and alot more and we will never know as long as anyone with bush is in office.........

I love the spelling of new "orliens." Probably pretty appropriate these days.

baddog i generally ignore your posts calling everyone else idiots but this one caught my attention..

while he may or may not be an idiot.. what was incorrect about his post?

I saw many stories in the media a few weeks ago saying that the number of votes for American Idol was higher than recorded in recent Presidential elections.

However, upon doing my own research:

111 million people voted in the 2000 election. (source: Census Bureau)

~66 million people voted in the last American Idol. (source: Wikipedia)

studiocritic 06-12-2006 11:51 PM

heres an example of a splogger who picked up that news that was so popular

bobbyjuly 06-12-2006 11:53 PM

Do you think Hillary Clinton would make a good looking US President? Yes, better than looking at guys as presidents. :2 cents:

probably not, i can see taxes being raised and the economy going down with her in office. i want gen. clark to run. that's one democrat i'd vote for. if not him, then probably mccain would be 2nd best.

Your own stats confirmed he was wrong, yet you ask me what was incorrect? you do realize that 111 is more than 66, right?

You also realize there is no age limit to vote for AI, and that you can vote as often as you like . . . right?

you dont have to pick a fat ass tv watcher off the couch to vote for american idol

Pornwolf 06-13-2006 12:41 AM

I think she'd do ok but I'm with Izz. Giuliani would be the best choice. He turned around NY in a way that few ever could. He has my respect and my vote.

What we need is The Super Nanny.... and it is an easy task. So long as you have milliions going in and you don't need anyones help to make more going out.

The only reason everything is so fucked up now is because people in office now do it for a JOB... Back in the old days people did it as a parting legacy factor. Almost all presidents before 1900 were business men who do their own shit or military men who made huge names for themselves by showing others how shit gets done.

Sure, most did serve in the house or senate but only for 1 or 2 terms and then went to the Presidency and after that became something else destinguished or retired from all work entirely.

But getting back to the Super Nanny... I am sure if she looked at America she would say to the President that your biggest problem is actually listening to others. You are the man. You are in charge and they are supposed to be listening to you. You have no time to fix shit because you are letting others come and ask you for favors instead of calling people up and telling them how it is gonna be.

LiveDose 06-13-2006 01:46 AM

I can't stand her or her views but I could see her winning unfortunately.
