Best Free FTP Program?
 

I used to use ws_ftp, but I just got a new computer...so when i went to go find ws_ftp it doesn't seem to have a freeware version anymore. anyone know where i can find it or a better one?

I have used them both and SmartFTP is the better of the two. It's what I tell everyone to get when they start out in the online thing. It's stupidly simple to use and has great features.

Another vote for Smart FTP

I've always liked Ace FTP. It's not free though =( Then again most free software sucks donkey balls these days.

Then you should try SmartFTP, it will show you there are exceptions to every rule. lmao

Oh of course! There is some great free software out there, just most of it isn't worth the hassle unless there are a lot of people behind the scenes working on it (Linux/Firefox/OpenOffice/etc.). I'll have to give SmartFTP a try though on my other puter.
