I need someone who truely knows programming.

Mainly PHP, and MySQL database support. But Pearl coudn't hurt. All of the things I am looking at, and working towards are going to need databases. Plus PHP, Ruby, or some variant of highbred scripting for content management. I do not want scripts full of bugs, or crashes.

So you have to know what you are doing.

Because of the lack of truely talented, dependable, legitamate people in my city that I've been referred to on this work. I've had to outsource some of this to the Czech Republic which is nice, and inexpensive, but logistics, and meeting time tables is an ENOURMOUS problem.

I do not have a problem with someone who has their own small company, as long as they can commit to some of the projects we are looking at. If they are in Michigan, or SW MI all the better.

Obviously an all in one tech wizard would be nice, but I am not sure how feasible that's going to be now. However, we are on the upswing, and the main thing holding me back is finding the right person to bring onboard, long term, for our IT and design issues.

if you know of anyone, refer them my way. I will talk with them, and see if they are the real deal, and can handle what I am looking for in the long term of what we need.

One last thing, if you are a programmer, make sure your sites work. If you can't handle simple HTML, then I can't even fathom you being able to handle PHP and server side administration.
