My Rant about some designers.
 

Ok so this as happened to me 2 times now.

Been dealin with this designer to do logos. He's top in my honest opinion and that is why i pay top dollars around $250 for a logo.

I had another job for him and he said yes he'd to it and since then been MIA for over 1.5 week.

Now what pisses me off is that it's for a site that is in the same category as the other 2 designs and he said he'd be done a while ago.

Now i am going to have to find another designer and ask if they can do somewhat same quality work.

Anyhow I am PISSED OFF right now and needed to vent. :mad:

If someone can find a designer that consistently meets deadlines and knows how to manage expectations fucking let me know.

Jman, try www.AdultDesignContest.com post proper specs, and get many variations.

I think that's one of the reasons you were always booked, as was I.
Coders and designers are pretty fucking flakey. lol.

So are clients much of the time.

Well, I've been on both sides of the fence. I've been a fulltime designer for a few years, and for the past few years I've paid designers and coders...

..and I have to say that I've had more negative things to say about the people who I paid rather than those who paid me. Maybe I just have too high expectations.

250 is not top dollar for a logo. that wont even get some design companies to answer the phone.

I know the feeling, I have to find a new designer everytime I start a another project.

They seem to come and go so quickly in this industry

Don't tarnish all designers!!! That's SO unfair! You're not ranting about designers ... you're ranting about one guy. So you shouldn't do that. Would you like it if someone printed a topic :
