I'm going to Australia. Need places to visit!
 

I am starting to plan my trip to Australia. I am going for 2 weeks in December.
I know there are a ton of Ozzies here so I wanted to see if anyone had some good ideas on where I could go to get a "real taste" for what AU has to offer.

try and get up to cairns and go out on the great barrier reef, maybe check out Fraser Island, gold coast, northern new south wales, sydney, melbourne

2 weeks isnt very long though.

Brad, try to add 2 weeks to your time in Australia! Or even 10 weeks :)

And go to Sydney, the east coast, the great barrier reef and the Whitsunday Islands, at least...

Yup 2 weeks is more like a taste of oz. Deffently hit the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melb. And ya there's tons of us in each of the major cities/areas so drunken aussie pissups would be easy to nut out. :)

Mission Beach, with Dunk Island in background. Beautiful little beach town, surrounded by Rainforest and close to the Great Barrier Reef.

I grew up there so I'm a little biased. But, it is one of the premier spots to visit (all of Far North Queensland is really)

skip the east coast and get to Perth as fast as you can :thumbsup :1orglaugh :uhoh

agreed..last time I was there I walked into a pub with about 100 guys and zero women (not a gay bar either) and I got 100 "who the fuck are you, leave now or leave on a stretcher" type looks.. just like in the old Westerns when the stranger walks in and the music stops :1orglaugh
