Making gallery thumbnails?

How do you make your TGP gallery thumbnails? Do you use programs like mythumbnailer or handcrop/resize images? Which software do you use? Any advise appreciated.

Adobe is excellent for that :)

I upload the full size images to my web server, and then run this script:

Thumbnail/Gallery Maker. $10 and it's fucking simple to use. Point and click.

Depends whether you want quantity or quality... when I make gals I usually use photoshop's mark tool with a fixed aspect ratio. This lets me choose whatever part of the image I want to highlight without being limited to a fixed size box.

Eg for a 100x150 thumb...

Mark @aspect ratio 100:150
Crop
Resize to 100x150
Curves
Smart sharpen
Save

^^^ the above steps can be recorded into an action.

I agree, Photoshop is the way to go. I've used other programs, but Adobe does a nice job and you dont get a bunch of extra code added in. Easy to edit as well. :thumbsup
