So who combats password hacking sites?
 

I see so many of them around, where only a few have stopped. Yet only threats can be used, surely these guys who own these forums are assiting the theft and can be liable to that. The people who use them are the people who love porn who are the hardcore surfers (the most likley to pay if quality porn was not available)

I understand its kind of hard with the russian sites, but what about the american ones ?

best thing to do is limit the number of different ips per account

look up the ip, trace it and call the host, tell them the details, usally goes down, but they find a new host in a couple days.

there is about 5-6 big ones. it gets very annoying after emailing over and over hosts, they just start right back up

wouldnt talking to the registrars and trying to get their domains pulled make more sense?

The great part about proxy pass is you can watch them brute force attacking you and the program just blocking off the ip addresses. It makes me really laugh!

the way they do it, is they brute force via a proxy list say with 10,000 proxies, and use a dictionary list, so once the pass doesnt work for the first one, it switches proxy's.

pennywise is pretty much useless, cause each account is allowed like 8 diff ips a day.
