After my possible 7 - 0 World Cup record (after this on-going 1 - 0 Portugal match is over), I'm going to pick USA to win or tie the game vs Czech Republic. Again, the reason I bet on the tie is to protect my investment. Only if I win do I make a nice profit. If I win that match, I'll be 8 - 0 undefeated in this World Cup 2006

Czechs will defnitely win this fairly easy, no offence but they are a difficult
team to beat. Solid defence, fast counters, dangerous strikers and a fucking
tall dude that is very dangerous with corners and freekicks. No offense meant
but my money would go to the Czech Republic without a shadow of a doubt.

the czechs have experience and with players like nedved, koller, cech, smicer and rosicky they are a class act and will be hard to score against and tricky to stop in attack..

qualifying against teams like panama and guatemale isn't exactly difficult and usa they must prove their international credentials. They don't have any players of international standard (with exeptions of perhaps a goalie or two?). This could again be the strength they need, but I fear they will lose out pretty early to italy and the czech republic, both semi-final candidates..

btw.. how the heck did you make a profit on the swedish game with both sweden and a tie? odds were only 1.20 on sweden and 4.00 on the draw and if you put down 200? you would have made a sureloss of $15.40

$153.85 on sweden = $0 back
$46.15 on the draw = $184.60 back

if you secured your bet paying back on the draw only:

$50 on the draw = paying back your $200
$150 on sweden = loss, but also possibly only winning $180 .. aka a sureloss again

The Czech have the best goalie in the world (Petr Cech) and USA have fuck all decent strikers. If the USA cant score they cant win. The Czech teams has decent strikers who can break the USA defense. If I was USA I would play a very defensive set up with one guy up front playing a long ball type game and hope they can score one to win. The USA however will run around like a bunch of headless chickens and lose.
