Moneytree tracks approx 4% of clicks :S
hmm switched from cams.com to mtree used an almost identical iframe exactly the same traffic source and quantity and gone from sending 1000+ uniques down to approx 50 a day. thats just laughable, the frame gets huge clicks i know for certain, I was getting around 3-4 clicks per visitor on the cam frame alone. What do you guys think is the best webcam solution currently. I was sending 5+ free joins a day to cams.com for a while but havent seen a single cent earnt yet. I know that the aim of the game is to find a few spenders and earn big off them but what kinda number of joins is it necessary to send to get someone who pays?
any thoughts on this are much appreciated. |
i average about 1 paid order for every 25 to 30 free signups on there.
|
i'll also say when i've used the iframe banners for cams it seems like it was reading alot of uniques and a very low amount of free signups compared to other ways of promoting. i hadn't quite figured it out yet with the iframe on the percentage program i was getting about 621 uniques per free signup and on other ways of promoting i get about 36 uniques per free signup, promoting in the same places even.
|
well i was running at about 220 uniques per free join. I might switch back and send it another 50 or so signups and see if anything shows up. I used to do great with ifriends years ago, I wish they wouldnt put that protective wrapper bollocks all over their content its so fucking ugly. Plus the affiliate tools are non existant.

a bump for todays business related query on GFY :p
|
I made .20 with cams.com someone bought .99 worth of a show!
Is this even possible? I thought you had to buy like at least $10 of credits or something... |
When I started using cams.com iframe ads I noticed a huge jump in uniques from when I was using regular cams.com banner ads. It's almost like cams.com is counting impressions as clicks? So this makes the ratios look worse then what they really are.

Give us a try on Friday. We pay $40 per Free Membership Profile every Friday.

I wouldnt use them in a hundred years
same for clickcash and others. |
The normal average for cams.com is 50 uniques per free join on average tgp traffic. Free -> paid 76:1 and the global convertion is 3928:1 which is in reallity very good when we take in consideration that the clicks are not made from a gallery but go direct to free chats.

mtree was the shit back when errol was handling affiliates....ahhh the good ole' days :(
i used to pop 8-20 signups a day on their cam system without fail for an entire summer |

notice my sig doesn't have a ref code tho WHORE :winkwink: |
Moneytree does not count clicks on iframes until the surfer actually clicks on the signup page, so that will make a bug difference when comparing to another program. Moneytree is a good program I just wish they paid more per signup and referrals.
|
Depends on how the clicks are counted. Some cam iFrames will register as a hit in your stats each time the iFrame itself is loaded even if they don't actually click it.

You should clarify that HSN requires the surfer to submit CC info while cams.com does not. Though I can get 1:8 ratio in getting surfers to sign up to cams.com, out of 112 members I've gotten only 4 paid sign ups. Not going to cut it. So I stopped promoting them. I keep hearing "Well just wait and some of those will eventually spend." Really, hasn't happened yet. I think after a few months if they haven't spent yet they aren't going to. I really don't get what the other 108 idiots were thinking? Clearly they had to know the free shit isn't great and that they would have to pay for the good shit, but they signed up anyways. But they aren't spending, so why even sign up? Right now I'd take $3 per FREE signup over that $50 per PAID sign up that cams.com offers, but they don't offer that. |
Mnoneytree only counts signup page hits. Fucking odd I know.
|
Yeah, your traffic numbers will be much lower using mtree but you will make a lot more than cams.com

Moneytree is the shit. Who the fuck is serious about cam traffic and doesn't send to the join page anyway?

Where are you getting your traffic from (i.e. what countries)?
I may be wrong and don't quote me on this, but they redirect many countries to an installer/dialer page - which they will disable if you request it. |

They do redirect no us traffic.

moneytree and their affiliated companies owe me close to $20k for traffic and have for a bit over a year.
They simply refuse to pay us. If they'd welch on their debt to us I have no doubt that the are spending their days and nights figuring out how to fuck you too. |
moneytree was considered a serious program in the past, but seems not be any longer
|
AWE outperforming Cams.com atm
