story in the stats??
I'm a self confessed stats junkie, but funny one turning up on a new campaign. Just wanted other's opinions on reading these stats..
(1st page) : (2nd page) : (join page) : (Trailer Views) Site A : 289 : 97 : 125 : 218 Site B : 596 : 75 : 247 : 426 Its odd to me because up until now, its a steady decrease from 1st to 2nd to join. But here it seems to me alot less people are checking out 2nd page of tour - which would normally send off alarm bells - yet more people are hitting the join page than normal. Is the story... the first page trailers are so shit hot that people are clicking the join straight away? or something else? Different viewpoints would be appreciated. |
Can we see the site?

Could just be a design that is 'tricking' people into going to the join page.
i.e. The surfer thinks they are clicking on a thumbnail, or to see a vid, or to go to page 2.... But they are kicked to the join instead. :2 cents: |

actually... i think ur right. Most of the page is quite clear and trailers do go to trailers.. but down the bottom there s a table of sexy thumbs that take you direct to join. So i guess people used to a tgp would click on them. Im not sure if this is "tricking" so much as saying "in here" |
