Long night... been reformatting my PCs.

Reformatting both my systems, been due for a cleanup for ages. I backed up everything, and realized after I was finished with this one, that I didn't save my fonts for design. Now I have to dig through hundreds of backup discs.

Nonetheless, I am happy to be on a bullshit free system... well aside from windows anyway.

I feel your pain - I have been prepping for the same - backing up everything in duplicate over the past couple of days!
Fun Fun!

doing it the hardway , you should make a ghost image of a clean installation with all your most used progs and shit used , copy it to an external drive/dvd
partition your drive up into parts , windows/programfiles on one partition , crap on the other

next time you need to format and install , its a quicker and easier task to do

northon ghost is easy as that. you chose the partition, enter the name of the file and make an image... :) and vica versa...
