10 years ago today...

I got on an airplane with a one way ticket and two overstuffed suitcases and came to London to meet the man who became my husband. 10 years in the UK :)

Yeah, I am. There are times when London, like any city would, becomes too much and I need a break but every time I think of leaving London I get a feeling that I would be missing something.

i get the exact same feeling here, its been home for so long that it would be hard to leave.

but i get bored of the same old city, doing the same old things, if i didnt travel so much i would probably go nuts.

Any chance you have any hot American girl-friends who'd be willing to repeat your story, yet daring enough to enter what is commonly known in the UK as...

"THE NORTH"

madawgz 06-11-2006 02:06 PM

congratz, hopefully more years to come :)

A change is good now and then but in general 'the city' as a whole can be tiring sometimes no matter which city. I love to go see other places but nowhere else as captured my heart. San Francisco came close when I went there last year but I kept thinking 'but it isn't London' whenever I entertained moving there.

London is a shitty city, you wont find a city on this planet with worse weather. But then again sarah, i take it you are a computer g33k so it doesnt matter if its sunny or not too you. ;)
