England 1 x 0 Paraguay - After game review
 

Well I guess most of you that watched agree that Paraguay deserved a draw.

It was quite a boring game if you ask me.

The most important conclusion I take from this game is that England is not such a great team as I thought it was. Their defense is solid, but their offense doesn't scare me anymore.

4 hours from now Argentina plays agains Cote D'Ivoire, and that is going to be an awesome game.

My current favorites to win the WorldCup now is: Brazil, Argentina and Germany.

If you wheren't expecting what happened you haven't seen many england matches.

That was a very English peformance. We have the ability to play well and dreafully all in the space of 90mins.

It's all about Sven again, another shitty substitution which made the 2nd half peformance worse instead of improving it. I hope McClaren hasn't been taking managerial advice off him.

I can see the English media going crazy in tomorrows papers. They do that all the time anyway, win, lose or draw.

Did seem like they settled for a 1 - 0 win. Which is dangerous, epsecially in the World Cup.

That's part one of todays bet up though, just need Sweden to win now... :)

Trinidad & Tobago x Sweden - A Trinidad win would be great for the England. Sweden will beat England

When they come up against a really good team like brazil, germany etc, you'll see some of the best football in the world.

If they play smaller teams they'll play at the same level and scrape through, they always do.

I hear you.... Brazil has the same problem.

BUT I don't think that Paraguay is such a small team.

I put down TT in the league I am doing but because they are fun supporters rather than them actually winning. Though it would be great if they did.

As far as the England game..it wasn't great but we won so that is what matters. Save the flashes of brilliance for when they are really needed.

they usually play one blinder.. so hopefully it's going to be the sweden game rather than the trinidad one.

remeber when they hammered Holland 4-1 in the 96 eurocup.. then played crap against Spain.

England's games are usually boring

we tire out other teams and then attack..but I think the heat is playing that trick on us this time

Well, Sweden - Trinidad & Tobago is still 0-0, only 15 min. to play. I guess we'll have the first HUGE surprise, lol.

That will be a great result for England. England will lose against Sweden.

Jesus Trindad and Tobago are holding them down with only 10 men. There goalie Shaka Hislop who plays for West Ham should be given gold like status.
