I feel feel like a NEWBIE Webmaster all over again ~
 

More than 5 years ago, I had nearly a hundred adult websites. I was a part time webmaster making enough dough to float my boat mostly with AVS program.

Then, the biggest AVS program suddenly quit and ditched all the small time sites owner like me. It devastated me and I stopped the adult biz and concentrated on my "proper" career.

Now, my "proper" career didnt really take off and here I am, trying to get back on my feet.

Pretty much have changed in the adult biz I supposed.

Any help on which affiliates I should sign up with?
What is hot now? Blogs?
TG still the way to go?

Any advise is much appreciated!

Even when I got into it in 2002 it was not all that easy, it definately isn't easy now that's for sure. So much competition. Complete and utter saturation (thanks to TGP) and the fact that porn is evolving. Cookie cutter sites with content that everyone and their dog has ain't going to cut the mustard any more.

It's definitely changed, but I believe there is still money to be made.

We shoot all our own content so no matter what, our program(s) will convert for you.

We've been 'in the game' for over a decade, and affiliate income amounts to table scraps compared to producing our own content.

Not to put down the value of affiliate revenue...but it pales by comparison to what our original exclusive content generates.

you know, ive only been doing this for like 2 years now. And the hardest thing about this is still trying to make the site look better. but if you ask me, i think its advertising your ass off. link trade and offer some good affiliate prog.

- Set up a TGP with a bunch of crappy thumbs

- Then a generic Blog where you don't take your time to say anything worth two shits.. all you do is post pictures and profanity.

- Then a Review Site that is nothing more then a front.

Then you'll be exactly like 90% of the other webmasters out there.

Not to say that those 3 things above don't work....do the above 3 things with quality...and you're ahead of the game.
