Let's see how well I do. If I get 2 out of 3, I am going to start betting lol.

I am probably going to be bashed for my PARAGUAY > ENGLAND prediction but I don't care. I know what I know.

Paraguay - England 0-3
Trin & Tob - Sweden 0-2
Argentina - Ivory Coast 1-1

ENgland 1 - 0 paraguay
Trinadad 0 - 4sweden
Argentina 1 - 1 Ivory Coast


Paraguay are good team, they have potential to beat england however

England v Paraguay: 2-1
a tough opener for england. The south americans have good world cup experience and won't be easily intimidated. However, Erikssons side will no doubt approach this game as per usual: calmy dispatching their opponents with a minimum of fuss. Could be tight but expect England to get at least two.

Sweden v Trinidad & Tobago: 3-0
A difficult opening game for Sweden. With England looking favourites to top the group, Sweden will be eager to get off to a good start. However, T&T are an uknown quantity and are unlikely to be too daunted by the game. The soca warriors will be ready for the Swedes physical power, but their defence looks like it might crumble. A physical encounter to open the campaign, but one Sweden should have few problems winning.

Argentina v Ivory Coast: 2-2
Thie will be a very tricky encounter for the Argentines. The elephants will be on the march and Argentina is not a great starter at the World Cup (especially against african teams). An entertaining draw is on the cards.

Looks like I got 2 out of 3, including the tie prediction :) And regarding my PARAGUAY prediction, it was a pretty close match and could have gone either way. But I am on a roll here!
