if you have a real copy of windows you have nothing to worry about! if you are on bootleg you are fucked! lol

Read the EULA before you install that garbage. Aside from sending MS-related info to them (no big deal), it also send all info from your BIOS.

In layman's terms, that would be serial numbers and any passwords you have to lock your machine on boot.

don't install that bullshit.

if you do have a cracked copy, it will simply lay in your systray forever and cease to update your computer with the latest patches, thus rendering your copy of windows riddled with security holes.
