Sushi is very good if its from a good place, ive had some bad sushi and it taste nasty though

sushi is UNREAL. i wuv it. its one of those things u dont really get at first, but then u start craving it and u dont know why. :winkwink:

I like Sushi, it is nice to have the variety too, if you get steak you are only having steak. With Sushi you geta whole bunch of delicate flavours.

Smoking can affect your appreciation of sushi too I'm told.

I love some sushi as long as it's fresh and done right. I had 10pm all you can eat sushi in Richmond one night and the snapper tail was rubbery ew! But good sushi is good food. :)

"Sushi" is now the new "Coffee"... I remeber when I was living in NYC (8yrs ago) and there was serious Sushi peer pressure. It was the thing to do.. like starbucks coffee. "Hey you wanna do sushi" "Let meet up for some sushi" ...:1orglaugh

That was my problem with sushi. I could not stand the nori (seaweed) so I stuck with ones that did not have it. My fiance loves sushi though so alas I ended up at places. While sitting at a bar the chef made us some roll spontaneously (didn't ask for it). I felt bad but told him that I do not like the seaweed. He said he should of noticed and that he was sorry. Anyways he made a new roll with a soy wrapper. Think he called it "mamenori". Either way I love this stuff and most places carry it.

Mamenori has no real taste to it and thankfully I can now eat sushi without the seaweed.

yup NY is where the sushi craze started

It was called the Soho Roll initially then took on the name of California Roll when craze died out here
