It is becoming a liability for Rupert Murdoch and his republican cronies. He knew that very well before buying it, MySpace will be used as a pawn to calm down the dumb masses of middle america just before the mid term election.

honestly.. myspace is a distraction for me - not a way of doing business - I do have an account there but it is not that important

I am sure alot of kids around here would suffer and cry if it got shut down, but there is more to life than a friggin site. If it goes, another one will only takes it place

it would be nice if it was shut down, i'm getting tired of the over-dressed pages of people who use every fancy myspace page making tool known to the internet. first it plays music, then it shows a video, then a hundred pictures load, then their background with sparkly stars twinkling...so annoying!:disgust :upsidedow

i f*cking LOVEEE myspace. im on it right now. ive met wicked ppl, the only negative thing i see about it, other than all that child predator business, is that myspace has full rights to anything you post, as in ur art, or music if you have a band. so its post at your own discretion. kinda brutal, but otherwise, i love it!

Don't know why Myspace became so much different than the other dozen similar sites like Hi5, Ringo, etc....

I hope so. Maybe then people will have to interact with each other in person, and show a little more respect and courtesy to one another, rather than hide behind the safety of their computer all day.
