A little help and opinion...
 

I just did a few adjustments to my site, www.ReadyLube.com, I changed the nav bar text to black and the title text to red...just wondering how you think it looks and if the page loads fast or not. Also if there are any gaps or shifts that you can see eaisly please let me know.

Looks fine to me, it is a little slow loading but it is graphic heavy. I would be optimizing your images, some of them file sizes are pretty large.

OK thanks, I will do some optimization...I was hoping that they were sliced small enough to load faster.

You should design it based on the images and not use actual images for the entire site.

nice site, loads fast :)

1. personally I don't like gradient on the headers (you can help, advice a column), maybe try to make it in one color with nice border or something like that.

2. try to make main body background #888888, now you have white on the main bg and white is bg of your site, not good...

3. you have lots of text without background, why it's in graphic? crop it into html and make this as a html text. That way it will be more anti-aliased and you'll get some points from SE later.

4. mouse over on main menu

5. maybe add a simple flash movie with promo of your product at the right corner of your site

Thanks JayLogic, I will take what you said into consideration and make some adjustments shortly :) I like the idea of the flash file a lot.

NetDomainia, you may be right that dial up users will not wait for it to load but we figured that most people have high speed nowadays anyway right.
