Anyone download it already and got it on their server?

They still don't recomend lay people download this. I'm sure many will then bitch about bugs like they did with IE7 beta 2.

I want to download it to see if my software will work on it. So for developers more than anything.

I tried like 4 ways of writing this, but each one came off sounding like I'm trying to be a dick, but I don't mean it that way. Why would you want to run a half finished version of windows? I could see it if you were in IT or something, and had machines sitting around doing nothing and you wanted to start getting ready for it if your office ran on Microsoft. But I don't think many of those type come here.

sweetmedialogan 06-08-2006 10:18 AM

oops, you answered in the time it took me to finnish writing that!

I'm also excited about the direct dvd burning and authoring features. the CD burning in windows XP was awesome. nero was good at one point but now their software is super packed with useless shit. they package like 500 programs into nero (103mb download too) and it runs slow as shit.

i just noticed something funny...

when you try to print the page with your Vista serial number the page prints fine but the serial number isn't there. hehehe

this day has been marked, will wait at least a year before I even install

learned my lesson in the past, don't jump on a fresh release from Microsoft

Forget about a year.
I usually wait until they release the 2nd service pack for a new product.

Running the 64 bits on my HP laptop ... works OK, prettier and a few nice features.

Also running Office 2007 and that is not as impressive ... Word is awfull ....

webcrawler 06-08-2006 07:54 PM

Not right now. Maybe in a year or so.
