Amysworld 06-08-2006 01:18 AM

Wow.. me coming from Baltimore, I think that is GREAT news!

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 01:19 AM

Oh shit almost forgot, now with Mcnair gone, Vince Young is in! Do you think Vince has what it takes to lead an NFL team? I mean he did win USC ALL by himself but this is the NFL man and your playing for the Titans!

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 01:22 AM

Hey guys on the last comment I made, I don't want to disrespect any Titans fans. I think you guys have a young team, but a very bright future. I apologize if my comment offended anyone!
Sorry!

BergyK 06-08-2006 01:43 AM

Go Cowboys!:thumbsup T.O a C:thumbsup owboy

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 11:34 AM

Hell yeah cowboys are gonna kick some ass this season, I like the Raven man. After yesterdays trade they are one scary team!

triumph 06-08-2006 11:36 AM

McNair is a stud, I figured they would have kept him to guide Young and make him an NFl QB, looks like the Ravens got a decent QB, they have had the shittest QB's for a while now.

Norm Chow is smart, maybe Young is ready to Play!

BiggleJones 06-08-2006 11:38 AM

Go Baltimore!!

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 11:40 AM

They better hope Young is ready to play, if he isn't they might pull off an 0-16 record!

Actually Billy Volek is the starter and the Titans will be looking for another veteran QB. Young is not NFL ready and if they wanted to draft a QB that was they would have taken Lienhart.

The Titans couldn't afford the $24 million cap hit.

Norm actually wanted Lienhart. You know the QB that played for him at USC and already knew the playbook.

stickyfingerz 06-08-2006 11:48 AM

Being from Nashville I should probably care.. Checking......... Nope just dont care lol. :Oh crap Titans are huge down here though. Id say Nashville is close to Pittsburg when it comes to supporting their football teams.

WebairGerard 06-08-2006 11:48 AM

At least they finally have a real QB

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 11:52 AM

Ok GatorB,
First off the whole coaching staff wanted Lienhart, BUT the most important man, THE OWNER, wanted Vince Young. Therefore Young was brought in to play and the only way he wasn't going to play is if Steve Mcnair was still with the team. As for Volek, all he is a " Plan B " just in case they fucked up on Youngs scouting report! Those are my thoughts!

Yeah I know Leinart, I am an SC alum.

I dont know why they did not get him, and got Young instead. Leinart is going to do really well for the Cardinals.

axelcat 06-08-2006 11:56 AM

Volek is the #1 QB with the titans

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 11:57 AM

Bro the entire Titan's coaching staff wanted Leinart, I firmly believe Leinart is a better QB, but the owner of the Titans, the man who writes the checks, picked Young!

I think that was a mistake!

Listen I know what I'm talking about. I know the dumbass owner wanted Young. Considering I'm a huge NFL fan and keep up on the shit and the fact I happen to live in Tennessee so Titans news is on all the time. I think I know what I am talking about. Fact is McNair has been gone for a LONG time. Young is NOT ready, he will sit like Carson Palmer did. Volek is teh starter until another vet comes in. Why were the Titans having Kerry Collins come in for a look last month?

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 12:06 PM

Kerry Collins is Plan C my friend! It is no secret that they do not trust Volek, and that's after Volek has been there for a good 3 to 4 years, if they did there would be no reason to take a look at Collins! That my what I think and I'm not saying you don't know what your talking about. I'm just stating my opinions. If they had a starter in Billy Volek, there is no need for Kerry Collins, don't you think?

Um because in today's NFL you need at least 2 Qbs that can start. Unless youa re Green Bay or Indy. Well Indy just signed Shaun King so why would they do that? Young can't start so that's why the are looking for another vet. It's very possible that that Vet would start ahead of Volek. I'm a Bucs fan and right now we have 5 Qbs on our roster and there is ZERO doubt that Simms is the starting Qb. Always good to have as many Qbs as you can.

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 12:16 PM

Well if your right, my Dallas Cowboys are F U C K E D if Drew B. goes down, thats when we'll see T.O. drama!

SxDx 06-08-2006 12:49 PM

makes the Ravens a whole different team. Hopefully, Jamal Lewis can return to greatness!

Juilan 06-08-2006 01:18 PM

Ravens are much more solid all around now. He fits the rugged brawling persona of the team well.

sweetgirl2006 06-08-2006 01:23 PM

thats cool..

Elixir 06-08-2006 01:32 PM

interesting!

Lace 06-08-2006 01:40 PM

Mabye we'll get somewhere this year....all I know is Steelers vs. Ravens on my birthday! :thumbsup

Go Baltimore!

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 03:12 PM

I think with this addition the Raven will kick the shit out the Steelers!

MegaPartnerJerry 06-08-2006 03:13 PM

No disrespect to Steeler fans, you have a great team and your the defending world champions, but you lost a lot of key players!

RF_Erick 06-08-2006 05:25 PM

Living in Baltimore. I AM FUCKEN HAPPY!
Move over Boller.. time to get schooled. Boller was problem #1 for past how many years. He just cant cut it. Hell he even kicked a ball once as a backup kicker during a game. LOL

Spunky 06-08-2006 05:32 PM

He will be a great addition for sure

BusterBunny 06-08-2006 05:36 PM

this thread is fucking gay...gator good to see someone knows what the fuck they are talking about......:thumbsup

Vitasoy 06-08-2006 06:32 PM

He is old. They will probably not make the playoffs

dakota1358 06-08-2006 07:27 PM

One of the best in the AFC?

Have you heard of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots?
Not to mention my Dolphins won 6 in a row to close out the season last year and have made significant improvements on both sides of the ball including QB.
