question about adult talent agencies.....

Why do a lot of talent agencies want producers to pay and sign up to a site to get models when you could go to a lot of other sites and get models for free? or just hook up with a local talent agent and get girls like that? they want you to pay $20 a month and pay for talent fees. those mofos are getting greedy. i know a few that charge like www.porngirls4hire.com and www.adultxmodels.com and i don't think they get any business. i don't see a point in paying. I get tons of models from adultstaffing.com and some local agents. Would you/Do you pay for a talent website to get models? if so, is the service worth it or is it a complete waste??

To make money.

the ones that make you pay will take any girl and put their pictures up, they are a model database that you pay to get access to...you pay the fee and usually can contact the girls very easily, but there are hundreds in there

the ones where you don't pay select their girls personally and don't accept just any girl....and you pay the agent a flat rate per girl/per hire and they arrange everything with the girl for you

We never pay a monthly fee.... Those sites are a joke. There's too many agency sites that just charge the daily fee.

Most people who start as agents don't last 5 minutes.

most of the people I knew as agents in LA had failed in everything else they tried, this was their last hope to make it....agents are usually the bottom of the barrell

BLish 06-08-2006 10:41 PM

That's what i thought. i know a producer that used to pay monthly for the adultxmodels.com site and he said that when he'd find a girl that he liked and wanted to shoot. they would never return his email and he could never get a girl from them to shoot. and the one time they brought a girl, it was a different girl than the picture and a lot uglier. He said the same thing you just said "its a joke". My partner was asking me if it would be worth it but after him reading this thread i think he changed his mind. lol.

The one and only site where i think producers have to pay and they do shoot the real girls they see is www.onemodelplace.com. All others mentioned above are complete bullshit in my opinion. the only reason i know about onemodelplace.com is cuz my girl has shot with a few producers from there. she also worked with the guy from adultxmodels.com and the whole time i think he got her one damn shoot with Score.

How much do you pay for the girls?

as a referral fee we usually pay about $100 or $200, depends on hot hot the girl is.

1st : A good agent train their model.
The girls know how to act, look at the camera etc...
Why do you think some agents get a tons of girls on the cover of hustler while others don't ?

2nd : Girls represented by good agents are bigger name, and if you are in the dvd market it makes a huge difference

3rd : When you organise a big shoot, there are more chances of talent showing up when it's an agent

4th : You don't have to deal with the stupid models.

IceMaster 06-08-2006 10:55 PM

There are better ways to get never modeled girls to pose without paying any monthly fee.

I personally keep my list to myself. Took a long time to compile.

Here we go

Hey L0rdjuni0r,

Let me try and explain it to you.

One of the above sites is actually nothing but another entrance door to Hardcore Modeling a site that offers Talent and Employers in the bizz to meet and set up shoots. I am not familiar with the other site you mentioned but I own the Hardcore Modeling network.

The answer to your question is actually simple. Let's say you are starting to produce your own content but you live in the mid west somewhere, you will not find ANY of the talent agencies in CA or FL willing to fly in a girl for a shoot (unless you pay up the asshole for it). A site like HardcoreModeling will let you browse and search for models in your area and if you find one you can (after signing up) contact her and try and set something up.

The $14.95 you pay will give you access to the talent database and it will let you place an ad to atract Talent that doesn't have a profile but is looking for work.

Since you are making your money on the web also, I am sure that you are aware of marketing costs, bandwidth cost etc etc.

$14.95 is peanuts compared to $100.00 per girl per shoot to an agency.

*Why do people join Match.com when they can go to a bar?

I hope this answers your question and if you have any more questions then I am more then happy to answer them for you.

And you "think" I don't do any business?.. LMAO.. I had plenty of offers to sell that network. Make me an offer that is reasonable and I open the books for you.:thumbsup

The #1 agency in Los Angeles is LADirect owned by Ben English/Derek Hay

They work with all the major studios in So Cal

sites like that are more or less job boards than agencies. i do pay/have paid for a few. not necessarily to access the model info, but so that i can post an ad about our sites. few are worth the money. adultstaffing & sexy jobs have definitely paid off. the rest are pretty much a waste. matter of fact, i recently signed up for porngirls4hire, and haven't seen any hits in or any response, which is odd.

if you're trying to book talent, a decent agency will give you pics & contact info for free

Thank you for liking the site. We all at HardCoreModeling worked hard to make the site a good connection for talent and employers to find each other.

Sebastian said it all, he does the marketing for HardCoreModeling and knows what it take to run the site.

As for modeling agnecies, we have many on our site that scout for brand new girls and scoup them up. Many employers have shot girls from our site that no one has heard of and then a month later you see her on a big agency and all over the place. That is why we made this site, so new girls who have no clue where to go can get thier foot in the door.

We at HardCoreModeling always help talent and employers with any questions or concerns. One thing we pride ourselves on is we keep good track on talent placing duplicate profiles. We do not want to have the talent in our database more then once. Also we send out newletters to the talent to tell them about new employers or if a certain employer has a big project we try to help them along.

So I think alot of people just assume its just a bunch of names placed on a board and that is it. When you see how much we dedicate ourselves to making sure both talent and employers are happy with our site.

Yes again model agencies are a great way to go, but many employers are like what Sebastian said just starting out or those who been in the business for a while want to get a fresh new talent before they do go to an agency.

I think there is room for us all and yes some sites might not care as much and not pay attention to the wants or needs, but we always will.
