theft copyrighted material

I have had the domain www.customsexmovies.com for a couple of years. I have used it for an extra site for a few projects, when you do a search in google you fine a site called www.hard-sexxx.com which has an exact copy of our domain and all the content on it. As soon as I update it his is updated, I have even erased it for a week and so was his, what is the point of this and why would someone do it? all the clicks still point to my links. Can someone please help us out? Thanks
Brian and Melissa

It's on your same IP, are you sure it's not a domain you own and forgot about?

Looks like it's on your server (Webair) and hasn't been set up so it's defaulting to your page.

i have never bought a domain like it and it is not on my server, the whois showed an address in Canada last time i checked. I live in Florida

I called webair and they said it is on their servers and not on mine. They told me to write to [email protected] which I did but they still did not say why or the point of this, so no one knows the reason for this?

good luck BUMP!

the problem is when you type my domain in google for a search his domain comes up, once it gets built up he could just change the info and take all the traffic. That is my guess why he is doing this. my domain does not even show up

MattO 06-07-2006 08:51 PM

Well the whois I'm looking at shows you both having the same IP and when I ping both it's the same IP.

It's a domain that no longer exists, on the same IP as yours, what you are seeing is your site. Has happened to me before, nothing to worry about, what you are seeing is your site.
