High Tension was good.

On June 13th, one of the greatest horror movies of all time comes out on DVD in the USA. Cemetery Man (Dellamorte Dellamore)!!

Not sure if Devils Rejects is a horror but it will horrify the hell out of you!

aico 06-07-2006 09:13 PM

Rosemary's Baby
The Exorcist
Dawn of the Dead (2005 or was it 2004?)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2004?)
Leprechaun

Kristian 06-07-2006 09:20 PM

Do they have to be new? If not, and assuming you havent seen any of the following (which you probably have), I can name a few worthwhile horror flicks :

An American Werewolf in London
The Evil Dead
Dead by Dawn: Evil Dead 2
Dawn Of The Dead (Romero Version)
Ju-on (inspired The Grudge)
The Thing
Steel Magnolias

(You've probably seen those and I've left out the obvious, like Halloween, Massacre, et all. Those are borderline scary flicks: not too disturbing so you don't get laid and spend all night, instead, huddled under the covers, waiting desperately for sun-up).

Newies to consider :

The Graveyard
Underworld - Evolution
Hostel

tony286 06-07-2006 09:22 PM

lately every movie the reviewers said were scary really sucked

It came out in 2000 and that's exactly what I said (without saying "off of", of course). Engrish not your first language?

Kristian 06-08-2006 05:58 AM

Thinking about it, it could have been 2004. In any case, you mis-read my post. When you say A inspired B, in your language this means B is based off of A.

bringer 06-08-2006 06:01 AM

evil dead
aliens
hellraiser and hellraiser 2
poltergeist
dawn of the dead (original)

J. Falcon 06-08-2006 06:01 AM

Dawn of the Dead is the last horror movie I really liked:thumbsup

Young 06-08-2006 09:12 AM

The Shining
Friday the 13th part 4
Halloween
The Omen (Original)
