best video cards for gaming

putting together a new system next week. AMD dual core 64 processor 2 gigs ram SATA drives etc.

i'm looking for a PCI express video card around $350-$400. i've got a huge list, but would like to hear some comments from you guys. :)

oh cool, well i am still thinking of either buying a computer or a new laptop probably a laptop since i can take it with me anywhere.
