Ann Coulter says 9/11 widows are enjoying their husbands death

Would someone just put a sock in this bitches mouth?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13186261/

WASHINGTON - New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton lashed out at Ann Coulter for a ?vicious, mean-spirited attack? on a group of outspoken 9/11 widows, whom the right-wing television pundit described as ?self-obsessed? and enjoying their husbands? deaths.

Coulter writes in a new book, ?Godless: The Church of Liberalism,? that a group of New Jersey widows whose husbands perished in the World Trade Center act ?as if the terrorist attacks happened only to them.?

She also wrote, ?I?ve never seen people enjoying their husbands? deaths so much.?

hershie 06-07-2006 04:59 PM

I have to change the channel right away if she is on. I loathe her.

Well Dunn 06-07-2006 05:06 PM

I dont much care for her but she makes a decent point. It's just like cindy sheehan, she used her sons death for attention and political propaganda. I feel bad for anyone who loses a loved one, but I start to lose my sympathy once I see them using that loss for their own gain.

ronbotx 06-07-2006 05:09 PM

The "Jersey Girls", like Cindy Sheehan, have used their personal losses to become political activists.

Simply put, they are not immune criticism, since they have no problem using the media and other public forums to "blame and flame" others..... :disgust

Mrs.Clinton spoke out against Coulter's comment's, which are totally being misunderstood you know the drive by media anything to support one way of thinking, but not my point, and this is what Coulter said to Mrs. Clinton:

ANN COULTER RESPONDS TO SEN. CLINTON: 'BEFORE CRITICIZING OTHERS FOR BEING 'MEAN' TO WOMEN, PERHAPS HILLARY SHOULD TALK TO HER HUSBAND WHO WAS ACCUSED OF RAPE BY JUANITA BROADDRICK AND WAS GROPING KATHLEEN WILLEY AT THE VERY MOMENT WILLEY'S HUSBAND WAS COMMITTING SUICIDE.'

That sounds like some serious inside info.
Thats it Ann Coulter killed Kathleen Willey's husband in order to try to take down Clinton. She only knew about the groping because she also had him under live surveillance.

If you had someone sitting next to you that was 3 times smarter than you, Ann Coulter would still be smarter than the two of you put together.

Actually both.

But it is not hard to compare intelligence with a guy that spams porn boards with his UFO sightings.

Of course not. But she actually made a great point. I think someone already compared it to the cindy sheehan deal. This news is not new. Its been all over the talk shows and internet all day and no one can argue against her point.

Her point is that these ladies are being used by the left wing because they knowthe media and everyone else will attack anyone who proves them wrong. A very good example of this is your response is immediatly attacking me based on the wives of dead husbands, not the fact that these women have made millions making political statements that are inaccurate and misleading at best.

More retardation by you. Bush uses 9-11 victims all the time to wipe his ass with the Constitution.

Sheehan is the pits. What a bitch!

Why is her son any more important than the other hundreds of thousands of American soldiers who have died for our country?

She comforts the enemy and brings dishonor upon herself.

chase 06-07-2006 06:28 PM

Of course they will use whatever was the catalyst for their activism as a tool. That's how to turn a negative event into something positive..like the parents of kids who get hurt on unsafe baby equipment using that event as a platform to further their cause-making safe baby equipment. I know it's an apples and oranges comparison, but to expect them to sit home and do nothing when they feel so strongly about something is really unrealistic. If my son was killed in the war, and it made my voice louder than the other anti-war cryers, damn right I'd be using that to get my message across.

Ann Coulter is sexy as hell !

If I were single, I would bend her over the nearest piece of furniture in a heart beat.

She is brilliant and right on point 99% of the time.

Those NJ widows do have awfully high profiles for widows.

Perfect point. But, her arguement is that if you are going to get your message our there, you should open yourself up.

Using your example, lets say it is your opinion that you kid got hurt on the unsafe baby equipment and you cant prove it. Shouldn't the company that manufactures the baby equipment in question be able to prove their case?

Just think about the Cindy Shehan deal. Was she really doing all that on her own, or were organizations taking advantage of her situation to gain favorable media attention for their cause?

I think we know the answer.

Then why didn't she tear into the families that are fighting for the 9/11 memorial? Aren't they doing the same thing essentially? By same thing I mean having an opinion.

Ann Coulter is a sideshow guys. She is smart, she knows how to push buttons. She'll sell millions of copies and make tons of money in speaking gigs because of this. It doesn't mean she isn't a total hypocrit and classless bitch.

not the point rocket scientist.

People who loose loved ones are allowed to make statements against anything they want. But if those people make millions of dollars for years and years after the loss, they shouldn't be sheltered against debate.

These women are paid millions and marched around the country repeating a politcal agenda because they assume their loss keeps them from having to debate.

It is just hard to take the stance of a woman bitching about the widows of 9/11 victims making money when she herself makes most of her income on speeches about the victims of 9/11.

These women have made millions of dollars doing this? Bull fucking shit, but it's not shocking that a jackass who defends a hate monger like Ann Coulter makes shit up on the spot.

Insulting these women and their families the way Coulter did is nothing even close to a "debate", you useless waste of life. No one would complain if she countered their arguments with a counter argument. However because she's totally ignorant and her ideology has no base in reality she's not able to do that, so she's forced to resort to the most insulting comments she can come up with, to keep her fan base of grunting half wits happy.

no, their 'personal issues' have awakened them to political issues. Nothing like getting your kid or husband killed to make you rethink our justification for going to war.

Mr. Soul 06-07-2006 06:53 PM

hahaha, that Fox news article is comical.

"Also, I don't know that any educated, conservative-minded person (Coulter's target demographic)"

I don't think anyone with more than a 10th grade education could listen to a word that whore says without being completely and totally disgusted.

dig420 06-07-2006 06:55 PM

Just the fact that you people, you ugly ass republicans, think bereaved mothers and widows are fodder for the rightwing smear machine says everything about you that anyone really needs to know.

Drake 06-07-2006 06:55 PM

It's brash but she's not 100% wrong on this. Is her primary motivation to sell books? Probably. Are the widows making millions off their husbands deaths and are they brainless ex-trophy wives potentially being used as puppets for a political agenda or marketing machine? Probably. Is it all in bad taste? Probably.

And note that when you become a public figure you become open to more criticism also from other public figures.

lol, wow, now that is the definition of pathetic. You can't tell the difference between a President doing his job and one exploiting our worst tragedy for political gain? Honestly? That is a campaign photo op, nothing more. Next you'll tell me that the "mission accomplished" photo op before the war even really got started was also what we elect a President to do.

Well, I guess some people have to be ditch diggers (or gallery submitters). Too bad you don't have to pass some sort of an intelligence test before you're allowed to vote.

Sure, and anybody is free to call her out on that or anything else for that matter. Sometimes when people take a stand on an issue they become more than your average private citizen. They become recognized by the general public and have influence. Criticism, sometimes harsh, comes with the territory.

Believe me, I can't stand Ann Coulter.

Actually, her belief is that if you call her or the Bush administration out on anything, you are un-American and root for the terrorists.

I agree it's funny but you have to admit this is one of the reasons why it's so difficult to take her even mildly seriously. She turns everything into a highschool playground. Did Hillary rape anybody? No. Did Hillary grope anybody? No. So why attack her for something her husband did? It's low if you ask me. I'm sure Hillary scolded Bill 10 times over for what he did. That has nothing to do with Hillary's opinions (right or wrong) on Coulter's statements regarding these widows.
