An interesting tool for SEO

I wouldnt use it for anything big - but if you want fill up a few obscure domains this actually does work

http://www.articlebuild.com/index.php

You stick in a keyword and it spits out a mini site based on that keyword with all the Adsense code etc already in it.

gooddomains 06-07-2006 04:23 PM

will google ban you for using this ?

Thats why I sa I wouldnt use it for anything big - its a distinct possibility that if becomes too well known that they could get shitty about it.

Just use DW to do a little search and replace with some unique text though and you should be ok.

Can you post a sample page or a paragraph from an article? I'd like to see the results without having to join first.

Interesting results, where are the articles being seeded from? Are they from a copyrighted database? Are there multiple copies of the same text floating around from anyone who uses this tool?

The articles are 'free for use with acknowledgement' type things I think, but Im not sure what the actual database is.

I assume that everyone gets the same results, so I think it would be worth adding some unique content as well - search and replace could fix that in a few seconds.

It adds an RSS feed that would work nicely with Chio's Autoblogger tool as well.

That is an early effort -- as you can tell from the poor quality of the text-gen.

If anybody wants to play with it, however, just hit me up -- :)

From the looks of it, the source is one of the databases that's made up of articles which are "free to use as long as text remains unchanged and author's credentials remain intact".

With text-gen, there are no copyright issues, as the resultant text is unique and very cleverly randmoized, but reads VERY well -- much better than the example above -- :)

That means its easily searchable and multiple copies of the same data exists. If you could get a unique source or a database which isn't copied on multiple sites, that would be much more beneficial.

As soon as you publicize a tool like this, it quickly loses all value - I would have kept it quiet and used it for my own purposes.

elitegirls 06-08-2006 05:10 AM

this tool would be worth somethin' if it would generate cache files or plain html files.. but if you think any one will give you their cpanel or ftp login data... forget about it!

LOL what a tool for boons

Stupid cow.

Juilan 06-08-2006 10:09 AM

errr duplicate content penalty?

OzMan 06-08-2006 10:22 AM

There are many similiar tools out there, nearly all of which are crap including this one after looking at it briefly because of the limited features, the duplicate content issue and the big fat footprint from the templates.

There are only two good content creating applications available right now imho that enable you to create readable content. Auto Search and replace just doesn't cut it and will produce gibberish a lot of the time when used enough to actually make the article unique.

One application is run by a psycho with terrible support and I dumped them and the other one I use regularly.
