What sponsors will cancel copyright cheaters
Sasso, Ricky [email protected]
202 Victopia ave Suite No. 294 VanterPool, SanJose 00000 CR Has copied some of my sites almost exactly. example: http://www.all-sex-stories.com (mine) http://xxxsextories.com/ I would like to know which of the following sponsors, if any, would you think would cancel his accounts for doing this: Topbucks Cybererotica ARS MaxCash ConversionCash This isn't the only site he has done this with - and I am in the process of contacting prohosters to have his sites removed. Just curious if any sponsors take action on this sort of thing - or just when they cheat the sponsors themselves. |
ALL
should |
you should speak with him,
or suit that bastard ! thats what i would do ! :) |
from past experience, i know cybererotica will for sure. don't know about the others but most probably they will also
|
I dont think any sponsor will keep you after a few complaints about copyright infringement.
|
In my experience none will. A german fuck stole $3k of my content from www.ukvideobabes.com put it up on a free server then had "If you like all my hard work please click on my banners" I contacted the free host and then the sponsors. The sponsors came back with shit..at first they even denied having him as an affiliate...I will put the email conversation up here if you want...this bitch I was talking to at a crout company needed a slap of the first order.

In all instances of notification and proof of copyright infringement or stolen designs I either suspend or terminate affiliates. In most instances the affiliates comply right away and depending on the circumstances that might get them off the hook with the complaining party.

I suppose it would depend on where the host and sponsor is located... but if there is a definite infringement issue and the host/sponsor has been made aware of it and does nothing about it, then they are collaborating with the guilty party and can be held liable for such.

Krome who's that bad sponsor?
:BangBang: |
Here's my experience with content stealing pieces of shit:
I find that one of my major competitors on an AVS I work is using all stolen content (pretty obvious, it's all scanned from comics and such, hentai) - so I report him to the AVS. All the sites even had that lame "This content is public domain no ownership implied, blah blah" disclaimer. They got taken down by the AVS. 24 hours later they are back - only change, he removed the disclaimer. So, I'm a little pissed at the AVS and at this thief, so I call the bugger out in email. After refusing to show licenses, and claiming that he had a "private deal", he eventually somehow seemed to think that I was his buddy, and relented a bit, telling me that he got most of his content from a site called h-cds or something ands it was all completely legal. (can't remember the url anymore) A full CD worth of hentai? Only 20$! Wow, them's cheap content prices! Where do they get it? They say right on the website that they harvest it from newsgroups and paysites. Fucking thieves. Anyway, he's still on the lists, on a lot of major AVSes. I hate fucking competing with thieves. Cheers, Backov |

I would hope that all would.

It looks like he is the process of removing at least one of the pages. I have found over 20 sites that are almost exact copies of mine. They are basically attempts to get good se listings that I already have.
He has done almost no work except changed the sponsor codes. He told me to "relax dude". He would change it. I have a wedding to go to now and tomorrow if they are not down, I will contact every one of his sponsors and file DMCA claims with everyone under the sun. And then proceed further if necessary. |
