ICQ: What Da Fuck ??
 

ok, something is fucked up with ICQ (my copy?)
people send me messages - and i dont get some of them !!!
I think some of my messages are being lost too

anyone else has this problem ? GGRRRR :feels-hot

i had the same problem with icq. Also if anyone has a plugin or something for trillian to work with PGP security please let me know.

I had the same problem. Install it again, should fix your problems. Did with me anyway...

Trillan gave me problems with losing messages.
ICQ Does it some times too, going in invisible mode seems to fix it, but then people think you arent online.
Can't have your cake and eat it too I guess.

I like Trillian too but it often does not mesh right with ICQ. I get this error a lot and their support forum does not offer a permanent fix.

I have that problem randomly with people that don't use legit ICQ copies, like various Mac versions and people that use trillian. As far as I know that has never happened to me with people that use ICQ as well.

Sounds like the problems I had when I kept using 1998b version. Upgrading to 2001b took care of all my problems. Would not jump to 2002 yet, as I have heard of some other weird problems.

So, I guess the question is, what version are you using?

maybe you're all behind some smart-ass firewalls :)

That was happening a LOT to me and a couple other people. We all turned off the "Do not allow peer to peer connection with previous ICQ versions" option and it cleared up the problem for us.

Added: We all had ICQ 2001b, too. But it still fixed the problem.
