like the "schindlers liste-theme" |
jurassic park theme ;)
or classic: johann pachelbel - canon in d |
La Villa Strangiato by Rush is a classic, although there's many more.
Dee by Randy Rhoads is one of my favorite classical guitar pieces. |

Id have to add YYZ by rush and moby Dick by zep |
How about the score from Requiem for a Dream? That music is creepy!!!
|
Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover
Classical music obviously has too many to name. |

|
My brothers wife (woman) theme
La mujer de mi hermano. |
and i liked aiways the theme from Mortal Combat.
|
hard to beat tubular bells
|
Orion, by Metallica.
BTW, how can it be an instrumental song? Isn't a song, by definition, sung? Let's call it best instrumental tune or piece instead. :) |
lol yeah true, a "song" is with words/lyrics. We've all suffered massive ownage.
|
"Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)" - Metallica

Dammm can remember the exact song, but Joe Satriani has great instrumental songs...
Mr. Romance |
Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo
|
Surfing With The Alien
Summer Song Speed of Light Flying In a Blue Dream Rubina's Blue Sky Happiness Cryin' Those are all Joe Satriani songs with no vocals I think. |
I also have to go with "La Vida Strange Pinata"
|
Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield
Beethovens 5th and 9th Shostakovich Jazz Walz 5 Alan Parsons Project - Lucifer Jean Michel Jarre - Equnoxe 7 Klaus Doldinger - Das Boot Main Theme Exocet - Demon Seed Couldnt say just one :upsidedow |
Metallica and Slipknot have some pretty good instrumental songs. Just jamming in the studio. Good shit, but I am more a rap fan, so I listen to lots of beats (over 1500 in my library). Also, there is the old batman score, and the spiderman theme was pretty good too. Not sure who the composers were though. The Batman score cd was quite popular back in 1990 or whatever. Good composer.
|
toss the feathers - The Corrs
|
I will have to go with Forest and second YYZ
|
i know there some good ones out there that i can't think of right now but soul sacrifice by satana is some good instrumental shit.
|
"Two Socks At Play" -- from Dances with Wolves Soundtrack 2hp |
|
The theme from Forrest Gump (at the beginning where the feather is floating around).
And cliche as it is - a lot of the Rocky soundtrack has some fine instrumental tracks (not 'Gonna Fly Now' which has vocals). I always liked the music in the background where Rocky gets up early one morning and makes his run through Philly with the kids joining in towards the end. |

But agree... some great film scores around - including Schindler. |
the theme from silent hill
