The Omen blew goat balls!!!!!

So they made this huge hype about this movie and it being on 6-6-06 and all that jazz...and I just got back from the movie and I laughed more than anything. When the house keeper bitch got rocked by the car was the best part of the movie! :2 cents:

Damian_Maxcash 06-06-2006 07:35 PM

The scariest bit about the origional was the music......

Did they keep that in this version?

Chio 06-06-2006 07:36 PM

? Doesn't the housekeeper (nanny) kill herself by noose? I thought the mother got "rocked" by the car, at least that's what happened in the original. Did you see the original? how was it different, if at all?

J. Falcon 06-06-2006 07:36 PM

Did you see the original movie, The Omen? Was it loyal to the original's storyline? Or did they change a lot of stuff?

Hey fruityloops! :1orglaugh What's shakin' with you?

babedirect 06-06-2006 07:38 PM

I haven't seen the orginal movie, but im gonna check it out soon.

In this one they have one house keeper who hangs herself off the building and then hire a new one who ends up being "the devils helper" and towards the end of the movie the dad run her ass over with his car

babedirect 06-06-2006 07:38 PM

The only semi-scary part was when the new house keeper jumps on the dads back

FreeFastHost 06-06-2006 07:39 PM

I thought it was pretty good. I jumped pretty hard about 3 times.

But yeah, when the house keeper got hit by the car it was pretty funny... funny when he kicked her in the face too.

DirtyDreamer 06-06-2006 07:39 PM

What did you expect from a remake?

What about when those dogs jumped out in the graveyard? I almost had a heart attack.

Ah ok. Gotcha.

c-lo 06-06-2006 07:45 PM

Shit, my girlfriend just went to see it with her family. :(

I told her it'd suck...as almost all remakes/sequels do.

Oh well, thanks for the heads up. :thumbsup

later

I didn't even know it was a remake until 1/2 way through the movie when my buddy told me the first one was better.

The part with the dogs in the grave yard was pretty scary...i'll give ya that one

J. Falcon 06-06-2006 07:55 PM

Man, I hope they stop making remakes soon. :(

They just need to let some good things die in their glory and stop fucking things up!

Chio 06-06-2006 07:58 PM

I'm going to watch the original right now. One of my all time favorites.

CurrentlySober 06-06-2006 08:08 PM

But suerly, isnt it only REALLY a remake, for those who have seen the original ?
I could be wrong, but I 'think' that the orig was made in 77 / 78 ???
If so, most of the posteres here probably wouldnt have been born....

I only saw that 1976 version. It's one of the scariest movies I've seen so far, though I haven't seen remakes of it yet.

Yeah, the original movie doesn't get much airplay on tv like several other horror movies do.

Vitasoy 06-06-2006 09:03 PM

Sounds like I'll wait for the dvd or ppv or something

DaddyHalbucks 06-06-2006 09:16 PM

99% of these re-makes and sequels are retarded.

Can't the movie studios come up with anything NEW?

:(
