Epassporte: pesonal or business? pls advise

Hello,

I'm setting up an account with Epassporte. But after dsicussion with clients I'm puzzled. My account will be business account, but some of my clients say they use Epassporte personal only. I can't accept payments from personal Epass accounts.

So GFYers, please... when you pay a designer, what Epass account do you pay with? Personal or business?

Thanks a lot.

So far it seems most people pay with personal Epass.

its kind of an odd system...
one of my advertisers paid me with his business account...but he hit the button twice and doubled payed me...When i tried to send the extra money back to him, Epass said i couldnt send $$ from my personal account to his business account...

Sounds like a personal account will cover your needs, if you have questions contact me and we can discuss what will suit your needs the best.

We have a business and risk model established on certain rules and those rules both make us money and protect us and our cardholders. Transactions between a "merchant" and a cardholder go through ePPurchase to protect both parties and to meet our internal revenue expectations.

Thats an excellent overall corporate answer, Keyser...
but user functionality is important and to receive an overpayment and not be able to return it in a timely manner by the same means, is rather unusual, dont you think..?

The owner of the business account can contact us and have the transfer reversed if they make a mistake.

yes, thats what they did...and the overpayment was debited back from my personal account...
what could have been solved by one click of the mouse on my end, resulted in me contacting the sponsor a couple of times, the sponsor checking the records. the sponsor calling C/S at epassporte and Epass performing the debit...that seems like a of of extra work to me....

Make sure you are ready to bend over and grab your ankles at every turn with ePassporte. They are slower than molassis in Januarary when it comes to verifying your bank accounts, they might make debits to your bank account instead of credits, they have random unexplained database problems, they take forever to send you your money via ACH and thier customer support sucks.
