[BIZ] Is it the sponsors responsibility to find and deactivate stolen passwords?
 

Does the sponsor not have a responsibility to do so? If not for their own sake at least for their affiliates sake?

I can think of a few sponsors that I do not even bother promoting because so many passwords are just floating around the internet. 1,000's daily.

Why don't the sponsors make a move on these passwords...I know it's nearly impossible to stop them but they are easily found on the web. Couldn't they spider the web? Whats going on...

Well most responsible paysite owners (be it a sponsor or an individual webmaster) should use Strongbox or one of the other commercially available password protection programs, and many do.

It's of course in their best interest in more way than one.

how should a sponsor find stolen passes? if anything, any webmaster who finds stolen passes should report them to the sponsor
