Question for the ladies: Are all the good guys married?
 

The title says it all. Are all the good guys all ready married?

And I'm not husband hunting or anything like that. But it seems like whenever I meet a guy who I'd like to get to know better, he's all ready married. And all of my good guy friends who are JUST friends but have "potential for more" are also all ready married. What the hell?

Maybe you're attraction to the married guys is about seeing something in them you cant define, but you like it. Maybe if they weren't married, they wouldnt project it. Catch 22?

Usually married guys are more attractive coz they can handle responsibility and they are more matured.
But for me I don't think that all of them are good guys.:)

Well, like I said... I'm not husband hunting or even boyfriend hunting so the first question I ask is NOT usually "are you married/dating someone" whatever. I just talk to people and when they're interesting to me or we just "click" or whatever, only then do I start thinking that it would be nice to get to know them better.

I'm thinking it's more like what BluewireAngie said... I'm attracted to a RESPONSIBLE more mature guy.

Thats what I meant. It's something you're picking up on without knowing, or even trying to find out. But maybe it's not a signal that a single guy would send out.

OR the other side of the spectrum is that you're attracted to what you can't have (forbidden fruit) There are plenty of single, mature, educated and interesting people. Maybe the single ones are not a challenge enough for you - OR maybe you subconsciously don't want to be in a relationship so you automatically go for the one you know is to be 'hands off' and you can't let it develop further.

I'm not married. But then again, I'd like to fuck the shit out of you on the first date then try to get you to bring a friend the next. I'm good, can handle you both, easily... so I guess it all depends on your defiition of what a "good man" is.

FUnny thing is, when they are married(or 'taken') they seem great. AT the moment you get single again, the women thinking you are great, are much harder to find:)

But see, that's what I was trying to make clear before... I don't ask first "are you married/in a relationship" because I'm not looking for a husband/boyfriend. What happens, happens. It's just that usually when I meet someone, and find them interesting, and think I'd like to get to know that person better, 99% of the time it turns out they're married.

In other words, I like the person way before I find out they're married, so I don't think it's forbidden fruit syndrome. That is so not me.
