Can anyone explian trading?
I'm trying to get a better understanding of trading traffic?
Why would some one want to trade away a surfer? I'm sure there is a good reason - I'm just not clear on it. Trading requires scripts - but do you need to have the same script as your trading partner. Assuming the answer is yes and assuming you run multiple scripts to match up with your trading partners - is there some sort of master script to sort the top trades list? Are trades always 1 for 1? Thanks, Glist PS I don't need hosting and I know to use chocker to start trades :) |
I'm interested to see what responses come in this thread....:error

Hi Glist,
the general idea of trading, when starting, is to grow Your traffic. If You do it properly, the result of You sending out hits to trades is that You'll get, on average, a larger return of hits - thus growing Your traffic. What counts the most here is if Your total traffic is productive (meaning: they actually click links).. If You send 10 visitors to a trade, and they combined produce more than 10 clicks on Your trade's site.. his tradescript will reckon You're sending GOOD traffic and will compensate You with volume, hopefully productive volume as well... and then You're basically "growing" :) Q: Must scripts match eachother, etc-etc... A: No, just pick a good one + make sure You're trades aren't using a really crappy one... and it'll work out fine. Q: Are trades always 1 for 1? A: No, it depends on several factors - combined, we could basically call it traffic quality. Hopefully those basics will help! :thumbsup (BTW: it's Choker, not Chocker lol.. many seem to mix that up) |
