Epassport - Buying airline tickets online with virtual visa

Has anyone had problems or success purchasing airline tickets with virtual visa? I was about to try purchasing airline tickets with Epassporte's virtual visa but I recalled a few posts on adult boards saying that virtual visa is not accepted at some online sites.

If a virtual visa purchase is declined online does that automatically place a 30 day hold on the funds or is that only in certain cases?

i was declined by orbitz, but they managed to get their 5.95 service fee though... go figure....
