Dreamhost set a connection limit on my site,WTF!

crash, In the effort to make the server more reliable for other customers
on it I have set a connection limit on your site to allow (50) per (5)
seconds. This is the best solution for allowing your site to continue to

if you're doing that much, it's probably time to get a dedicated server. if your site was affecting other customers i'd have to say they handled it pretty well then.

They do that with EVERYONE that's why they can charge you $30 a year =)) There are limits set on everything you get from them

small claims court will win $5,000 or jurisdictional limit on fraud

That's why they are a cheap host, they overload their servers. Upgrade to a real host and you won't have those problems :) Dreamhost is ok for low traffic sites, but most adult customers get frustrated there.
