At least that's what's being reported on local radio right now... that the price of gas is expected to soar due to this latest threat from the Iranian leader.

So far I really don't like the way "diplomacy" is going with this country.

Getting sick and tired of our dependance on the Middle East. Wouldn't it be great to tell them to shove the oil up their asses one day?

get the oil you need from us.. problem is, with it beeing billed in us $ we don't get shit back :/

BULLSHIT! Gas prices rise even if someone farts. It's bullshit. The gass companies are making BILLIONS of PROFIT... per second, they're the richest companies is the whole world. They don't have to raise those prices everytime something happens... they could do what some companies do... take a hit occassionally... allow the bad times to roll with the good ... people wouldn't despise them so much... mind you what do they care...

BUT... eventually, one company will rise above, start buying up others, and then they'll get sued by the US Government for monoploisation of a market and unfair business practices.

I fucking hate the company's ... not the countries in the middle east. Tho they do need a slap!

You know oil is about the only thing I can think of that they raise the prices due to idle threats or the fact they think a hurricane might hit and so on.. Funny how the price never goes down as fast as they raise it when what ever threat it was this week goes away..

What's Bush got to do with oil prices? He couldn't even keep his own "oil company" solvent. Fat chance of controlling oil prices - nevermind trying to manage an economy.

Just stop driving your car, try riding a bike instead, or just walking.
If everyone did that for a week or sothat would drop the demand for gas and oil by a hell of a lot, causing quite a loss for the oil folks involved.
I know it would never happen but it is a nice thought
