What do you think the biggest threat to your future success on the Adult Net will come from.

Don't see a threat.

Personally I do not see a treat. Business is growing on most fronts, magazines, are kind of static, but Content, Paysite, DVD and mobile sales are going forward all the time. Could do with them going forward quicker but then who could not. ;)

These are my reasons for not picking one of the options, try to give yours.

Increased Competition?

I don't see it as a big threat, but some might, competition is good. Makes us all better and delivers a better product.

Low quality.

Those who don't give a good product/service do harm to us all, but as the Net matures they become less of a problem.

Free Porn.

Seriously anyone who can't sell whacking off in comfort and safety for a $1 a day is going about it the wrong way. If you deliver a good experience why would someone want to save $1 a day?

Centralization of the industry. (Big Guys dominating.)

Already happening, but always room for a new guy. Given he has the skills and resources to compete.

Scammers.

The people who think they can get rich quick with a con will always be with us in this industry. But I feel they will have less of an effect in the future.

As I said a purely personal view and yours might be different. So let's hear it.

Relish content is quality, our new sites are quality. I dont see any problems. Affiliates will push us because the sites will convert and retain.

The Internet is getting better and better. Do you really think trolling around looking at small images, the wrong niche, bad videos, getting spyware and things is worth it to save $1 a day?

Plus who ever bought their first porn? Free porn is about getting the consumer to use the product before he upgrades to buying it.

Do you really think people stop buying porn in big numbers because the free stuff is better?

My biggest concerns weren't listed:

1) US dollar continues to fall into oblivion
2) Republicans winning office again (and again, and again) and finally going after online porn full force

the dollar... went below 6.00 versus the krone today.. 9.50 in 2001 .. getting worse every day

Competition is an issue to consider; it drives profit margins lower and that's a threat for any business. There are whole industries where the competition is so high that loses and minimal profits are the standard results. I don't think this can be applied in the online adult industry for several reasons though. Just something to further think :)

Thats one of my biggest concerns too.

i don't see any threat now, but in the future...
it's very difficult - foretell the future, all the more that it's not depend on us.

2) Will not happen. Some Americans are not the sharpest tools in the box, but after Bush it will be a long time before they vote in a Republican and I know how bad the Democrats are.
