CYBERPatrolling the US-Mexico border
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/5040372.stm
"A US state is to enlist web users in its fight against illegal immigration by offering live surveillance footage of the Mexican border on the internet. The plan will allow web users worldwide to watch Texas' border with Mexico and phone the authorities if they spot any apparently illegal crossings. " Interesting. Talk about using the web to massively increase manpower. What do you guys think? |
I think there are very few americans that are gonna sit on their computers doing this :)
Then again I suppose if there are enought people against illegal immigration they may see it as doing their bit ! |
too bad they can't make a video game out of it, install a little cross hair on it! LOL
|
It wont matter. For this to work, there would have to be an actual punishment for crossing illegally. Like deportation or something. But we dont do that. Instead, we subsidize thier mortgages and let them suck on the welfare nipple.

Sure why not setup this camera system in high crime areas....& let everyone scan the neighborhood 24-7 acting like the police.
Didn't someone write a book about all this? Oh yea 1984 fuck whatever idiot came up with this idea |
