what makes someone sign up and not send traffic to a program? Lack of time or focus energy onto other projects ?

Probably 100 or so...

1) False advertising - "We offer tons of hosted galleries..." and they have like 6 of them.
2) Shitty conversions - enough said.
3) Haven't had the time or right place to advertise them yet.
