video editing question
i am messing around with my dvd camera
and a 5 minute video is 69 megs what can I do to lower the file size but not the quality? |
:( i hate trying to learn new shit
|
I would just capture at that rate and then re-render into wmv format and them store the original on an external drive, dvd or delete it. I use Vegas Video 6 for this btw.
69 megs seems awfully small btw... I captured from my HiDef cam and it was 3 GB for around 10 minutes I think... 69 megs is nothing when dealing with video. |
Standard DV format (regular) runs upwards to 13 gig an hour. 10 minutes for 69 meg is pretty compressed to start with.
HD is huge... Alex |
That isn't very large to begin with. Video data gets huge when uncompressed.
|
yeah, i think.. you'll just have to encode it in wmv format.. i use sony vegas 6 for that..
|
hrmm alright
i guess 69 megs it is lol |
