these pics are often misleading, since a lot of these people spend loads on advertising and have somewhat low profit margins. but it is a damn good feeling holding a big check, even if you're gonna havae to pay 95% of it back.

he did an adwords->ringtones experiment in his blog.. spent $29k on the PPC engines, grossed $140 something thousand.. 30 days.

In March using these 4 networks I budgeted $40,000.00 Of that $40,000.00 I was only able to spend $28,932.75 for a total gross return of $144,329.29 for the month of march from cj.com and azoogleads.com Ringtones affiliates.

How did he get a check from Google using AdWords? I use Adwords and my checks don't come from Google they come from whatever sponsor I'm promoting. If he was using AdSense then that check would come from Google.

It's really quite simple. He bought spots on adwords and displayed the ads on his site using adsense. Then when his site visitor clicked an adsense ad he would get paid and the visitor would be sent back to his site to click on..wait I 'm getting dizzy..

ok that didn't make sense so here's how 2hp would explain it..(picture worth a thousand clicks er words and all that)..

My guess is that the picture doesn't correspond to the article. In the article he mentions the two affiliate networks he used.
