Which is worse for under age surfers?

1. Porn on the internet

2. MySpace or similar sites

3. I really dont care, so I would say the rocks.

Just wondering what you guys think.

None of the above.

1. Parents who don't play a role in their child's life.
2....
3....

Fuck. I can't think of any more.
But in regard to the internet:

1. Children who have parents who let them spend too much un-monitored time on the internet.

myspace ruins people!!!!!! FUCK MYSPACE!!!!!

I don't think any is really bad. I mean I don't think kids should have unmitigated access to porn, but I don't think it stunts growth. I think watching TV shows and movies that celebrate teen sex and that lifestyle is a much bigger influence. Is a teenage girl more influenced by seeing a porn video or hearing that their idol Lindsey Lohan is fucking half of Hollywood?

As for Myspace, I don't know why people think this is so bad. Would you rather have your child on a computer talking with friends, or out at a mall or unsupervised? Child predators will exist with or without Myspace. I don't see how social interaction with peers could ever be a bad thing, especially in a safe environment behind a computer.

Parents who don't care.

pornguy 06-04-2006 03:41 PM

Well I guess those are about as on topic as I should expect.

MySpace profile sheds light on 13 year old girl's disappearance

A local family is desperately trying to find their missing daughter; she hasn't been seen since Monday night. The only clues to what may have happened are on her page on MySpace.com. After seeing what the girl posted, her parents don't think she's alone....

Finally got some good responses. I agree that the one thing that is needed is more interaction with the parents.

Books. Books are by far the worst thing for any surfer, regardless of age.

Man Kids was a horrible movie. Except for Chloe Sevigny, everytime I see a pic of her I have to watch that movie. Shit... now I have to watch Kids again.
