It's not a smart idea.

I fucked all the models I shot. But they were hardcore shoots. And yes, I shot them & fucked them on camera, by myself.

Yeah.. I don't think people realize how technical shooting porn is. When I shoot, I'm so focused on the shoot, getting better content, problems, etc.:thumbsup

But if/when the model hangs out afterwards.. that's a different story.:1orglaugh

As a general rule, NO. Sex complicates everything, espcecially work. You find that the sexual tension you can build with a model will result in much sexier pictures than the afterglow of sex. If you can make her feel sexy by "wanting" her and not "having" her, she will usually perform much better as a model.

Sex is risky. I've had sex with a model, and we got along fine after, and she was better as a model because she wanted to please me more. I've also had sex with a model where we blew ALL the tension, and after that we didn't have much left between us, and so the resulting content was shit.

Best solution is, if you're gonna fuck 'em, wait until they're not your model anymore.:2 cents:

Producing porn is a personal thing, I know many pornographers. Most of them at one time or another have slept with a model. This is my take on it.

If the model wants to fuck you, you get the sexy shots anyway. She has a look in her eye, the angle of her body and the way she acts is telling you "I want you"

With most models carrying that into a sexual relationship will strengthen the bond between you, unless you're a lousy fuck.

The difference between porn and a picture or video of a naked woman is the little hints and clues that say YES. Would they be easier to get from a woman who has had you and wants you again or a woman who never had you.

Oh and for those who say it's best to leave them wanting. Think about it, how long before wanting turns to feeling rejected.

As for those who think it's a bad business move, explain how much you earn "Purely By Shooting" and explain it to me and Eva.

At no time should a model be forced, coerced or taken advantage of. And if you need to get them into a studio to sleep with them pay for a hooker, it's cheaper.

Usually the models hit on the photographer .... we are just the victims in this case. Models want more shoots and want more money. It helps to have some discipline and stick to the business in the long term. But shit happens all the time, doesn't it?

If I were a photographer I would fuck every model that I could...I don't see how that could be a problem.

This is a business. While it's different from most other businesses, the same rules apply here. You can't be professional with models when your trying to get down their pants. Not to mention it's creepy.

Too many people are in this inudstry to have sex with models. This is common in our industry.

Sleeping "with a model" here and there is accetable; These things happen - they always do in the work place. However, making it a habit isn't a good idea. I prefer to be hands off.
