There's a shitload of ads there, from a surfers point of view.

too many ads for me.. but its ok for a first timer... theres always room for improvement right? :)

Looks good, but I agree about the banner overload. If you make it a little easier for the surfer to find your content they will come back.

Perhaps move the hosted galleries (at least some of them) further up the page.
