FREE EMAIL program ( with geo-ip )

Dont waste your traffic and money sending your hits to a PAY-PER-EMAIL program , when you can have your own..

Maximize your profit by collecting your own double opt-in email database.

(try it out by using your real email addy , dont worry its just a demo so you wont recieve any spam mail , just an example message .)

The system records signup / ip / city / email into a database

This demo is setup as if it was used as a popunder
( firefox users click anywhere on the blank page to trigger popunder )

BTW...

What does this mean?

POPUP SCRIPT

Works in firefox but will steal the first click on the page instead of doing a popup..

well firefox doesnt do popups so basically it steals the first click on the page. like if that were on yahoo , the popunder would be initiated silently when you clicked the first link on the page.. you wouldnt notice it happening..

Like if i had a link on that page to gfy.com and you clicked it , it would open gfy.com and silently in the background it would open the popunder

So.. it's a popunder. Right? I saw it come up. Just curious.

I'll tell you why, because your confirmation email is going to bulk on the major ISP's, as will your advertising messages unless you know what you're doing. Naturally you'll earn a hell of alot less per email with this problem alone than most sponsors will pay per confirmed. There is your next challenge smokey, hit inbox :thumbsup

Getting by email filters just requires tweaking of the message thats all , and really it isnt needed , the user cant access the area until he checks his email.. if he cant find the email he will check his "bulk/spam" folder or he wont get access , at the same time he will see your "advertising message" you have sent at the same time it will be right below the verification email so they are SURE to see it even if it gets sent to the bulk folder . The point of NOT using the geo targetting beforehand is done on purpose so that when they check the email they see an email with the subject line containg their city ( even though they didnt enter a city )

Although your right i should add a message to the "check your email for verification" and let them know the email might hit their spam folder.. but like i said it almost works better this way , because the advertising email you send along with the verification email will be alot harder to keep from the spam folder, and this way they will already be in their spam folder looking for the verification email..

:thumbsup trust me i have thought about all this . I have run my own email program for about a year now , i have quite a big database of emails ( EXCLUSIVE ) and back to back have made more from them than with the email sponsors i was using before ( i used cecash ftc and gammacash ) I still do use them for some things, .. this isnt for everyone its for s certain purpose for a forward thinking person who is also interested in cross-promotions :) theres lots of possibilties.

I may have given some people the wrong impression maybe, the email isn't the trick , its using it in combination with a geo-ip script to do EFFECTIVE advertisiing

do you measure open-rates of your mailouts? if so do you want to share some numbers?

BradM 06-04-2006 12:57 AM

You could make a biz at this. Just work on getting whitelisted.

SmokeyTheBear 06-04-2006 01:27 AM

updated the demo to include voice alert , just for kicks

SmokeyTheBear 06-04-2006 03:19 AM

Ok, I see, all I got was 'verify your email', so I am guessing it couldn't geoip track me (Sydney Australia for what it is worth). Cool little option though, but you're right it isn't for everyone. I guess you get many more submits and confirms than popping a regular CECASH page, but I'd be suprised if you are monetizing them better than CECASH does (even thought he affiliate obviously only gets a cut of what they make per email). But I guess if you've had a year at it you might be pretty decent by now at working the $ on each email. Incase you are not already doing it, you should consider what alot of email programs do, when someone submits from yahoo.com address for instance, you should put a prompt page after linking directly to http://mail.yahoo.com asking them to confirm, perhaps with a small screenie of the yahoo mail page to increase clickthrough on it. Anyway, cool script nonetheless.

My bad again, I see this Boondall Alert before the verification email. Didn't even notice it in my clogged inbox though considering I have never heard of Boondall. But now I see it.

good suggestion thanks , i forgot about that . most of the programs like cecash will forward you to your email provider after..

And the geoip will get better , its an older database , i can update the geoip and rec-corelate it to the database to improve the geo tracking. So while it might have been off today , i can update it at anytime :)

The geo-ip crossed with the email is where the fun stuff begins.. you could do some great cross-promo's besides just adult/dating you can do adult/mortgages or something .. if you signed up for a free membership to a pornsite , you would prob be quite suprised to see " CHEAPEST MORTGAGES IN ___yourcity____ " in your email box :)
