We've come to look at AIDS so regularly now that deaths by this disease are like uninteresting. Yet check out these figures for the amount of deaths in the past 20 years and what they expect if a cure or vaccine aren't found.

This article projects 100 million dead in Africa in the next 20 years or so. Talk about a holocaust. Yet we'll not hear about it cause it ain't rich people. China has a problem too as does S. America. Bottom line is people who don't have th education are prime victims. So it's a case of the ignorant and poor dying off.

Uhm... did it ever strike you that Aids was not developed / spread by monkeys somewhere in Africa, but rather by some sick professors in labs for the military / government?

Did that guy die of AIDS too? I remember watching a news cast showing celebrities who have died of AIDS. It was amazing the toll.

Nowadays if you're rich or have insurance you can live normally. Look at Magic Johnson. He's had AIDS going on almost 20 years now.

Or religious beliefs that forbid them.

No shit! Check out this list of celebrities that died of AIDS. I am blown away. I didn't know Isaac Asimov got AIDS and died from a blood transfusion.

I remember way back in the 70's my mom telling me that there was some bizarre disease being spread in Africa. She had spent a lot of time there studying with professors and visited many heads of state. She said then that it was some form of germ warfare. AIDS then was announced almost 10 years later.

I would say from looking at the basic evidence, AIDS was an accident that then got turned into something that got out of hand. No major conspiracy as our scientists are supposed to isolate and exploit deadly pathogens and study ways to cure them. Yet with all the crap coming out in the past 10 years it wouldn't surprise me if AIDS wasn't being used as a weapon of mass destruction.

Twenty years ago American schools were ranked #1 in the maths and sciences in the world. Today America is ranked in the 20's for these disciplines. We don't even care about ourselves and the direction of our country, why would we care about the rest of the world. Movies, TV, Music, Celebs, and GFY are where it's at baby.
