You are right, kazaa is still up. It's going to take a while, but it will disappear. New ones will emerge, but it's going to be a lot more difficult.

And I really hope it's going to be more difficult for the average surfers.

There is still Gnutella... but given how slow it is and how easy it is to turn off share mode, I seriously doubt that this would be an easy option for users after Kazaa goes down.

There's supposed to be faster versions being developed in the pipeline....

they can also get full length movies on kazaa, they cant get those on tgp's.

kazaa was almost as slow and equally eazy to turn off share mode. people really over estimate the convienance of current p2p programs, theyre fucking terrible. nothing comes close to napster.
